You got somethin' attached to your head."

Freckles

She may take after her momma.
I had (still have) freckles sprinkled across my face, though not nearly as cute as they once were.
Gramsie has called it the "Little Country Girl" look. It endeared her to me right away
and helped charm my way into her affections and heart.  A good thing since I wanted to marry her son!
Maybe this generation can have the "Little Mountain Girl" look?
I know I'm charmed!

I'm SO confused!!!

Where are Bryce's pajamas?

"Zack. Tell me where the capital letters are supposed to be in this sentence
and what punctuation should it end with."

"Where is capitalized, Bryce is capitalized,
and it ends with a question mark"
 says he.

Susanna pipes up
"AND pajamas!
Pajamas is capitalized because it is a name."

(silence and confusion as cogs turn)* * * * * *

Finally Olivia screws up her face, raises one eyebrow, and muses out loud:

"I wouldn't name someone Pajamas"

Expanding the Playground

"I like that one mom!  It looks like an old logging picture."  says Clayton.

What we have here, is a couple men who don't do things by halves

and shouldn't be accused of under-building anything!

(more "logging" pictures)

You know what this is, right?
It's a labor of love.
(and maybe some fun that got a little carried away?)

I can't help but wonder who's fancy this will tickle and who might be deterred from visiting?
Just look at these faces though, and tell me it isn't worth it to live a little :-)

Fantabulous yes!
But not a little hair-raising for moms.

Dads, however, will be likely to approve.
And "show" their offspring how to use it responsibly.
(Mmm-Hmm)

It was a sunshiny weekend.  And inspired, apparently!  It's amazing what
energy is acquired felling a few trees:-)

 So now we're set.
 Maybe.
 For now anyway.

I am so thankful for the men who put aside other important projects in order to
bless this momma and her children (and ALL other mommas and children who visit!).
Who went above and beyond the essentials.

But really.

Who's surprised. :-D

Bryce calls her "Yah-Yah"

Reveling... lots of reveling.

The Spring has finally sprung here on our hill, and with it some nearly-summer kind of days.
2 weeks of  postpartum "aftershocks" and an additional week spent feeling like myself again
finds me in the most "ready-to-revel-in-every-marvelous-little-thing" mood this weekend!

Come peek at the marvels of Marvel Hill........................................

Treasure in a Tool Box

 Workin' boys

A girl and a hose... endless entertainment :-)

Thank you Lord, for sunshine and warm days for being outdoors!

AJ, Dad, and the "other" swing

I got you too Mom!

Yeeeeeeeee----- HA!

Dear Cinnamon,

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words,

but I doubt even the pictures will tell you just how grateful I am for your kind heart!

(For those who are in the dark, my lovely friend Cinnamon in Iowa mailed a party in not one
but THREE packages!)

Bryce inspected (and tried on) everything with careful deliberation :-)

Thank you my sweet friend!  I am still taking in every piece - each magazine that has
blessed my time of rest, and the box of much-appreciated diapers!!
Sue was so excited to "do Math" with connect the dots :-)  And as you can see,
Bryce put the shoes to use right away.
I would have to say that the "Toot-sie" rolls have been the biggest hit, and unfortunately for them,
the kids haven't been allowed to eat any yet, but the banks are just as good of fun, and as long
as one can count, and rattle, and shake up the "Toot-sies"... life is fine:-)

I love ya!
