Serenity

I posted this picture just so I could look at a clean floor for longer than five minutes.  HA!

Actually I thought you might enjoy seeing how I hang the Bugletts current artwork.
I've really enjoyed having a designated place to enjoy their best pieces.  Plus I just love the
burst of color they add to my wall (and life!).

I have a box which holds all the rest of their daily artwork and unfinished drawings
(the ones that have to be put away because it's time to set the table for dinner)
but when that gets filled up (usually every several months), I sort through and collect all my
favorites, making sure to name and date, then punch holes in them for a three ring binder.
(psssst... the rest get thrown away - I know, *gasp*)

The children really enjoy perusing that binder/s every year or so and looking at their great
creations from years past!
It works for me today, so that's how I do it :-)

  1. Oh your room looks so peaceful. I love the color on the walls. I'm ready to re-paint, re-decorate, re-do everything. Wish fixing my 10 baby body was as easy as swishing on a coat of paint :-)

Be content with all things is runs through my head when I go crazy with wanting to re-vamp everything :-)

I love your binder idea. So simple. So easy. So thoughtful and wonderful for the children to look back over.

    Hugs sweet friend~ Cinnamon

  2. Love it! I just bought really cheap shadow box style frames (2.50 a piece on sale at Hobby Lobby) and put a favorite painting for my kitchen wall. But I only have 3 kids :) I like the 3 ring binder idea though and may have to start doing that. I can't keep all their art but don't know what to do with my favorite that I am saving.

  3. By the title I thought you had given birth and named the baby Serenity. :)

  4. Hey! That could be nice!
Especially if I had ALREADY given birth. That would be desirable:-)
