This is Big Miles.
He sits at the big table now.
In his new chair.
He likes to eat Peanut Butter and Jam sandwiches now-a-days.
And pancakes when his sister makes them.
It looks like Miles has been eating berries in his yogurt today.
One of his favorite things to do lately is draw with the big kids.
He shows me his pencil, wanting me to see just what a big guy he is to be drawing!
He knows he is pretty smart.
Here's a new game Miles likes to try.
In this game, you drop something and wait to see who will pick it up for you first.
Big brothers and sisters are best for this game. They love to oblige.
"Mama, it's down there." Says Miles.
Miles forgets that mama doesn't play this game.
She never wins.
Someone clued mama in about 12 years ago,
that Baby would always drop more times than Mama could pick up.
Poor Miles.
Oh well.
Miles loves mama anyway.
Next time he'll drop something for Zack or Susie to pick up!

I always love reading about your precious family and the happenings in your day! You somehow always manage to give me a little mama boost and the energy to keep plugging along on this adventure that is raising children. So, thank you for that!
Dear Kendra, I don't know if you'll come back to the comments and read this, but I want you to know that I've enjoyed your gentle and transparent thoughts on your own blog as well.
It's an amazing privilege to have a support network of gals who have a desire to see Jesus at work in their lives, and to be His hands to their families, all connected through this venue - even never having met!
Thank you for visiting my little space. I'm so grateful for mamas like yourself :-)
Love
How precious!!! He has gotten so big!!! Love your beautiful family :)
Oh the look on that little man's face. I love it. I know it. It cracks me up! Looking forward to see him grow up.
Ha! The little one I was just nannying enjoyed that game too. Lol but she too, found out Aunty Di doesn't play that game more than once. ;)
Loving you!

Oh you have such a cute little family. I leave your blog encouraged EVERY time!!! :) I could NOT believe that was baby Miles...what a handsome falla he is. i started reading here just about the time he was born.
Joshua Jackson LOVES that game too. I agree it does get old and fast. I remember being soooo surprised 16 years ago how long a game of peek a boo could go as well. I always got tired first. :) Love your sweet posts my far away friend. :)
Nikki, your sweet heart and encouraging words always encouraging to me as well. Thank you!
Hugs to you dear friend!
