I love this pattern because of how simple it is, and how little fabric it takes for someone Olivia's size. Because it's a circle, it is the BEST twirling skirt!!
I could have done a tutorial, but decided to actually accomplish the project itself. I could STILL do a tutorial, but the chances of that are slim to none.
Let's get real! This is the time in my life where we sometimes stay in pajamas all day; where breakfast starts at eight and ends at ten; where assembling a new set of Lego's is considered school, and peanut butter and crackers is considered dinner. That's just the reality.
She wears it.
I satiated my need to create.
I'm happy!

*sigh* come sew with me lovey! I despair of ever actually getting my machine out these days. I actually went into Kmart to get some clothes for Erin - I found 2 pairs of track pants that didn't look like they belonged on a *loose woman*. Not enough hours in the day at the moment!
I love the skirts you have come up with...so awesome!
I must google a pattern for these, my little girls would love them!
My girls would love me to take the time to sew a few of these. Miss Olivia is doing life skills...home econ...etc. =o)
You must come teach me how to make that! I have one Princess K who especially would love this skirt. :) It is adorable.
We have the same bookbag. Love the skirt!
lol! Life in a nut shell, right? What a pretty skirt, she looks so beautiful! (could you tell her that?) Anyways, I heard that Charlie and Hannah had a blessed event. Congratulations, Aunty!
Oh my goodness, your pictures are so cute. I don't know how to sew on a machine, yet, but I want to learn just so I can make that skirt. My daughter would wear one everyday. You have a great blog!
