Friday we drove our favorite I-5 stretch between Portland Oregon and our California home. It was the most beautiful day for driving; the view starting with Mount St. Helen's, and ending with a fully snow-clad Mount Shasta at dusk. If I hadn't been the one driving, I would have taken some pictures (and to be fair, AJ would have taken some if I hadn't packed the camera in the duffel which was later packed in the farthest regions of tha van.)
We arrived in town after dark but it's really truly Spring here (the kind with GREEN grass, and flowers) and we could roll the windows down and take in the cool air scented by Almond blossoms and new oat grass. Yes, it was very hard to take! ;-)
We were able to join my brother Charlie and his family for dinner at their place yesterday evening, and that was a pleasure I will enjoy for some time to come! I hope some of you may meet Charlie and Hannah one of these days.
I'll call this post good with some pictures from our time with them.
Love to you,
me

I love the pics Analene! And I LOVE you too. Can't wait to see you.
Ah, those pictures are wonderful. I need to go see them. It's been way to long. I haven't seen her since she got pregnant.
:-P
I did get your message and I will see if I can get a call out to you a little later in the day.
Lots of love, Heather
You're making me jealous here. I've been a bit homesick for that "green" myself. It always seems to happen around this time of year when there's been a few months of white with no end in sight, and I know spring has sprung back home! Enjoy it for me. -Shauna
ps. We're currently having a nice little blizzard, and with the wind chill, it's -40 out there. How thankful I am for my cozy home and woodstove!(and indoor plumbing. =)
Hi Annalene! Thanks for sharing pics of your visit with Charlie and Hannah. We sure enjoyed ya'll up here! Looking forward to our next visit.
I'm glad to here that you safely arrived!
Charlie and Hannah came to church last week. It was good to see them! Please tell us when Hannah has the baby. :)
Hope you are having a good time visiting with your family! Your littlest sis is supposed to come to choir on Thursday. I miss her!
