Speaking of Pumpkins...

I don't feel prepared to admit that my brand new baby boy is three weeks old already.

It can't be so, it can't be so, it can't be so!

But... it is.

Shucks.

Three weeks postpartum is the time when I lose my glass slipper and my carriage turns back into a pumpkin.
Daddy is back to the regular work grind; the meals and help have stopped; I am once again keeper of the household; and all this on the fumes of very little sleep.

Boy do I feel tired! (and sleepy) (did I mention I could~use~~more~~~s~l~e~e~~p~~~?)

Topping off that list, this last week AJ has been in Kentucky and will be out another four days.
So it could be said that I don't even have my prince to pick up the pieces of me!

Gramsie is here though (a most precious blessing for me and the children)...
And our cupboards are stocked with all the food we need for the next few days of meals...
Everyone is still healthy (knock on wood)...
AND my dear Mrs. Smith threw a beautiful baby shower for master Bryce, in which both baby and I were showered with the love and gifts of many friends (more about that soon)...

While that first two weeks in the carriage was a nice ride, my pumpkin isn't so bad either! ;-)

Now if I could only stop time for a while.
Hmmm...

Let me in on the secret if you figure that one out!

He's adorable. And if you can work out how to pause them for a little while let me know!

I can hardly believe he is three weeks old already. Though I have been in a fog for most of that, so it kinda makes sense for me. But really, time goes by TOO fast!

Hopefully I can sew this week and get your stuff in the mail!

Love you,
ME

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Your children are adorable! And I so hear ya on the growing up thing. I keep trying to pause time with my now (gasp, already?) 2.5 month old.

Beautiful picture of you two!
I'm finally getting a bit of that sleep we mommas all crave, but I'm looking at my baby-turned-toddler and thinking, "that went much to fast, when do I get to hold another little bundle, Lord?".

Three weeks already, wow!

Glad to hear your transition time seems to be going well(and that you have gramsie there to help) :) Bryce sure is a sweet looking little guy.
