Another peice of Me: Artist in Hiding

I tried entering this blog hop a bit prematurely today, so here I try again (I'm new to all this hopping stuff!)

I have loved to draw from the time I could hold a pencil, and my mom and dad encouraged and ogled over every scribble I put forth from that time on.

These days my waking hours are full of other things. Every once in a while though... the urge to take up my pencil sets in.
Pen and ink is my favorite medium at this season in my life because it requires no set up or clean up afterward. This particular drawing was an experiment in adding detail to my black and white, and also finishing off the picture with a background behind my character.

I love to capture the dear moments of motherhood and family life. In looking at my artwork you may feel that you are peeking into some very precious moments unseen:-)

Wow!
That's an amazingly drawn picture.
Have you thought about doing prints to sell?
I think your illustrations would be wonderful in children's books...

Happy Hopping!

I know that you are a busy momma now but I have thought more than once that both my little ones have precious drawings from you to announce their birth. This little one is going to get a portrait taken by me but I have always cherished the pictures you drew for my children!
