Great Feats

I am only 29 years old, and have had my own children for less than seven years. None-the-less, I am an old pro at doing things one-handed! My one-handed days started when my sister Emma was born and I was eleven. That would put me at 18 years of experience.

I can:
wash dishes
make breakfast
...lunch

...dinner
clean almost anything
play piano
type (albeit a slow process!)
write (I guess you usually use one hand for that)
take pictures
push a cart
carry groceries...
and I'm drawing a blank for the rest of this list

Some Things I Don't Have Down Yet:

getting dressed (myself or anyone else)
tying shoes, and
changing a diaper (I keep thinking this will come with practice, and believe me - I have tried more than once!)
This list should be longer too, but I don't like to dwell on the negative. I'm a glass half full kinda girl!

What can YOU do one-handed?

I love this list!!! I can make pretty much anything including cutting stuff as long as the stuff isn't prone to rolling around. I have only changed a diaper one handed when it is of the non messy. By the time you are done you will be able to do everything one handed. :)

Well Analene, I don't have kids of my own yet, but get plenty of practice playing the "favorite Aunty". So, I can do quite a bit one handed for not being a mom. My husband has seen it and is like "how in the world is that possible?" I always say...you should see my friends with multiple kids...they are even more amazing!

I am so proud of you. You are a great mother!

Once, I hung shirts on hangers with only one hand... just once.

This is such a fun topic! I seldom have to worry about this anymore, since I have fourteen arms besides my own willing to hold a baby rather do whatever task is awaiting;)

Blessings,
Suzanne

I forgot, I ironed one handed once. That was an experience I don't recommend.

As always, I tend to march to my own drummer...

I tend to put the babies down while I do things. My bad shoulder makes it painful to hold them sitting down much less while I do stuff.

I am fairly uncordinated in the first place. Make me one handed and I can get very little done.

Yeah, well we all knew I was a little different.
